What's new in George
We have added new options to the FIT section. Here you will find a “Find More Cash” tile that makes it easy for you to gain extra cash. This could be interest on your savings account, Moneyback rewards, contributions from health insurance companies, government contributions, etc. You will be able to see how much you have gained in an overview.
You can now find your debit cards in a new place. It's easy to tell them apart by their design and the last four digits. You'll be able to see their status, such as whether they're being delivered, blocked, etc. The card functions tab is also immediately visible, so you'll never have to look for it when you're in a hurry to change something.

Investment Center has new content, features and look
The Investment Center portal has undergone a major transformation. You can now find information not only about Česká spořitelna's investment funds, but also about those of its competitors. The number of funds available on the portal has increased five times. All products have detailed characteristics and can be easily compared with each other thanks to interactive charts. The range of market data on the performance of indices, stocks, ETFs, commodities, currencies and cryptocurrencies is also exceptional and available free of charge.
Interested in a product on the Investment Centre? If it's tradeable, just click on the “Buy” button. This will take you straight to your George where you can place your order.
The portal also allows you to track the performance of structured products' underlying assets at the product level. What's more, you can access a wider range of analyses, investment know-how and market highlights.
A mobile version of the Investment Center can be downloaded from Google Play and the App Store.
REICO real estate funds – the stabilising part of your portfolio
The Erste Premier portfolios deliver returns of 5–8% per annum (not adjusted for inflation) over a five-year horizon, making a significant contribution to the growth of our clients' assets. Real estate is an integral part of these portfolios. It is one of the investments that does not correlate with the performance of the equity and bond markets, and is therefore an appropriate complementary component.
We would like to introduce you to a pair of REICO's property funds. In addition to their stable returns, their advantage is the relatively quick availability of the invested money, in contrast to direct investments in real estate. Thus, your money is easily and quickly available in case of need (funds up to CZK 5 million are usually available within a week).
REICO funds have assets worth approximately CZK 38 billion in their portfolios. Most of this is in the REICO REAL ESTATE FUND, which is the largest retail property fund in the country. It focuses on office buildings, logistics parks and shopping centres. The younger of the funds, REICO LONG LEASE, was launched in 2021 and invests in logistics and industrial warehouses.
Achievements of REICO funds in 2024:
- The funds recorded the highest investor interest in their history, attracting investments worth approximately CZK 7 billion.
- REICO REAL ESTATE expanded its strategy into the attractive residential sector and purchased its first 170 apartments.
- Both funds optimised the volume of loans, which reduced interest costs.
Erste Asset Management GmbH, part of the Erste Group, recently became the new owner of REICO. "This move will allow us to create better synergies with other real estate funds in the Erste Group and I believe it will bring faster growth in returns for clients," says Dušan Sýkora, Chairman of the Board of REICO Erste Asset Management. The funds plan to make further investments this year.
