Enjoy Special Offers as a new part of your Erste Premier Benefits
We are pleased to introduce a new section to your Erste Premier Benefits. Under the Special Offers tab, you can currently find exclusive offers on property development projects and cars. More offers will be added in the future, covering more areas. One thing you can be sure of at all times, though, is the highly competitive parameters.

Christmas shopping is more secure with a virtual card
In addition to merchants, fraudsters are unfortunately also preparing for the increase in shopping before Christmas. Getting a virtual payment card is an effective method of protecting you from misuse of your payment information. This is a fully independent card with its own PIN and spending limits which you can (but do not have to) cancel immediately after completing your shopping. This means a fraudulent shop operator will have no opportunity to tamper with your data afterwards – your card will simply not exist anymore.
You can get a virtual card within seconds in the Extra section of George.
Tax deduction for your Long-term Investment Product (LIP)
With the end of the year fast approaching, we'd like to remind you of a new tax deduction available for the first time this year. If you've invested in the Long-term Investment Product (LIP), you can deduct up to CZK 48,000 from your taxable income for the LIP deposits you've made.
The LIP allows you to invest in a wide range of investment products. In order to benefit from the state’s favourable conditions, you must use the LIP for at least 10 years and withdraw funds from it after the age of 60 at the earliest. The George app now allows you to buy and sell foreign currency securities without the need for a foreign currency account. This opens up the possibility of buying securities in a foreign currency as part of your LIP.

New features in George: Invest section
We’ve added some exciting new features to the Invest section of the George app and invite you to try them out. The dedicated section is now located at the bottom menu bar and the new options will make investing with it even more attractive.
What’s new?
The app now offers an overview of investment performance, including a detailed growth graph for all your asset accounts. The range of investment instruments has also been expanded. In the new Search and Buy section, you can now trade:
- Bonds (senior, junior and market-traded)
- Structured products
- Currency premium deposits (including FX options)
- New IPO stocks on the Prague Stock Exchange’s Start Market
A key new feature is the ability to buy foreign currency securities without the need for a foreign currency account.
Investing Plus
With the launch of the new functionality, we are introducing a modern fee scheme in the digital world called Investing PLUS. The scheme is based on a regular monthly payment for the management and record keeping of investment instruments dependent on the amount of assets under management in a given asset account. This scheme will only apply to asset accounts that you newly open through the George app. It is in these asset accounts that you can additionally trade fractions of popular securities (selected stocks and ETFs) with the option to set up regular buy orders, as well as trade special low-cost classes of the most popular open-end mutual funds.

Our Christmas offer helps you create the best moments of the year
We have a special Christmas offer to help you get into the festive spirit. What can you order this year?
Christmas tree: You can choose between the Caucasian fir, with its dense and soft needles, and the noble black pine. The trees are between 160 and 250 centimetres in height.
Delicious carp: Carp scales are a symbol of prosperity and good luck. This year, you can enjoy delicious carp from Hradec Králové. The local carp are bred in ponds with sandy bottoms, so you don't have to worry about a muddy taste. The fish is certified as a regional product.
Home-made sweets: It just wouldn't be a traditional Czech Christmas without the smell of vanilla crescents, Linzer cookies, and other Christmas sweets. If you don't have much time to spend in the kitchen, there are Kateřina and Petra. They're famous for her home-made sweets. A one-kilo box contains a selection of the most popular sweets, made from top-quality ingredients.
