Investing through George is more convenient
and offers a wider range of options
In addition to mutual funds, shares, ETF, and certificates, you can now invest in premium currency deposits in the Investment section of the Store in George.
What else has changed?
- The online version of George now has an ‘Explore everything’ button in the ‘Find and buy’ section. There is no longer any need to know the ISIN (identification number) or title of the security. You can simply browse through all products and filter them by type in various categories.
- On the main ‘Find and buy’ screen in your mobile George, you will now find a topical overview of the top 10 global share titles ranked on the basis of their market capitalisation. This allows you to see the biggest current players on the global share markets in an instant. Of course, once you click a title, you can also buy the shares. The new native environment of the ‘Find and buy’ screen will offer you an up-to-date and intuitive user experience. Added features include interactive graphs with price trends, which you can find on the product detail screen. Here, you can explore all securities by category using filters.
- You can view our offer of investment products, even without an asset account. In the online version of George, you can use the ‘Find and buy’ button to locate investment products in the ‘Extension’ section. In mobile George, you will find it in your profile as the ‘Discover investments’ menu. If you like and wish to buy a product, George will guide you through the online process of opening an asset account.
Datatrezor – a safe deposit box
for your digital documents
Datatrezor is similar to safe deposit boxes, only instead of physical items it keeps digital valuables in utmost safety. Nobody but you – not even the bank – will be able to access your contracts, passwords, photographs, healthcare documents, or your own original writings. Furthermore, its contents are automatically encrypted to prevent misuse.
How does it work?
- To get a Datatrezor, all you need is a Bank iD. This means you do not have to remember login information and nobody can misuse it.
- You can either upload documents to Datatrezor or insert them as photographs from your mobile device.
- In the event of death, the contents of Datatrezor are subject to inheritance proceedings.

LoungeKey gives you access to discounts
in selected airport restaurants
Want even more options when you’re at the airport? You can now use your LoungeKey benefits at selected restaurants in addition to the lounges. Use your eight free entries per calendar year at one of the selected airport restaurants and get a discount of EUR 23/CZK 550 per person off your bill. The same discount applies to those who accompany you. For each discount redeemed, one entry under the LoungeKey Programme will be used. All you need to do is inform the server that you are using the LoungeKey Programme during checkout and pay using our Visa Infinite card.

LoungeKey and the new Visa Infinite card
If you have previously registered a Mastercard World Elite card in the LoungeKey app, which is now being replaced by Visa Infinite, please create a new registration with the new card in the app. It is not possible to replace a card from one card organisation with a card from another on an existing account. On the card itself, we will automatically set up the LoungeKey program for you.
